Our school…
The school is called Santa Elena, it is very big, there are students aged 3 years old to 18 years old. This year is the 125th anniversary. We are in 1st  form high school, there are three first forms. There are twelve subjects and Portuguese is optional. The girls play handball and volley, the boys play football and basketball.
When do you go to school?
 Uruguayan students go to school from 7:30 to 13:15 five days a week.They sometimes walk or go by car to school. 
On Tuesdays and Thursdays we have lunch here in the school. A lot of people do this in other schools too.
 We finish school at 2:00 pm and after that we go home, some student play football and practise other sports, we meet friends and play computer games and play station 2. We sometimes go to a shopping centre, watch a film and always do homework. 
Do you do a lot of homework?
Uruguayan students do a lot of homework and they usually do homework in the week. They sometimes have internet projects. History and English teachers usually set homework. Uruguayan students usually do homework after lunch. 

 What do your do in you free time?
In the afternoon we often go to the park with friends. In the park we ride a bike, we run in the promenade and listen to music, some people prefer playing computers games and watching T.V.
In the evening we usually go to the club because it is very popular, some people prefer going to the shopping center, there a many shops and you can go to the cinema.
